Preview period

Following the refurbishment of one of our galleries, we are now open for a previewing period which runs until 20 March 2012. Visit us during this time and be amongst the first to view our phizz-whizzing new gallery, complete with Roald Dahl’s original Writing Hut and an array of new hands-on exhibits and displays. The Museum features two fun and fact-packed galleries (including the newly refurbished Solo Gallery) and our fantabulous interactive Story Centre. Complete your visit by calling into the Museum Shop and Café Twit, or venture out on our Village and Countryside Trails.

The Museum is open 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday and 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

We are closed on Mondays, except bank holiday Mondays and Buckinghamshire half-term Mondays.
