Welcome to our great little award-winning and family-friendly Museum. We were Enjoy England's Best Small Visitor Attraction 2008, so do come and see our two fun and fact-packed biographical galleries, the fantabulous interactive Story Centre and enjoy our sunny courtyard.

The Museum is open 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday and 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We are usually closed on Mondays.

You can buy tickets when you arrive or book in advance up to the day before you visit:

We advise pre-booking for workshops (phone only). Please check you are booking for the correct museum as tickets are non-refundable.
